The XIV session of the TRACECA Intergovernmental Commission was held

An international conference dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the signing of the Basic Multilateral Agreement on International Transport for the Development of Europe-Caucasus-Asia Transport Corridor

(TRACECA) and the XIV Meeting of the TRACECA Intergovernmental Secretariat were held in Baku on December 5- 6.

The event was attended by officials of TRACECA member and observer countries, representatives of international organizations.

It should be noted that TRACECA is a special project within the framework of technical assistance to the CIS (TASIS).

It is supported by the European Union. The project was adopted at a conference in Brussels in May 1993 with the participation of 8 countries (5 Central Asia, Kazakhstan and 3 South Caucasus republics).

The Minister of Economy and Infrastructure of the Republic of Moldova Anatoly Usatiy also attended at the event.
